Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Pam Bargar Southard, age 62

Pam Bargar Southard, 62, of Judsonia, went to be with the Lord December 8, 2021. She was born August 26, 1959, in Muskegon, MI to the late Donald and Edith Ausburn Bargar. Pam passed away from severe complications of an unexpected heart attack.

She would often say, “I may have been born in Michigan, but I am no Yankee.” She was proud to be an Arkansan!

Along with her parents, Pam was also preceded in death by her six uncles; J. S., Calvin, Leroy, Allen, Gene, and Tommy; two aunts, Nina and Gracie; her brother-in-law Carl Harbin; and her great nephew Zack Foster.

Pam is survived by her loving son, Michael Paul Bargar (Ashley); her pride and joy; grandchildren, Diamond, Braden, Kaylie, and Cheyenne; her only sister, Carol Harbin; two nieces, Chastity (Chris) Foster, and Melissa (Robert) Block, one great niece; Shelby Foster, four nephews; Wesley Foster, Justin, Jared, and Jordan Block; with one great niece on the way, Cecilia, and a host of friends and family.

Pam attended Mt. Zion Church of God, where she walked down the aisle and laid her heart at the foot of the cross just one week before her fatal heart attack. We will never know what her prayer was that day, but we can imagine she was positive she knew where she would be spending eternity.

In her spare time, you would find Pam reading, sometimes the same book twice, she loved Netflix series, working word puzzles, adult coloring books, rocking in her chair, and playing games on the Kindle. She was a hard worker, working at the Tobacco store for nearly 20 years before retiring. She made many friends there who will miss her smile and friendly personality.

Pam was able to travel many states in her life. In her younger years she traveled with her sister and brother-in-law wherever the Army took them; in her older years she traveled with her son and his family to many states while he worked on the pipeline. This was a great excuse to spend time with her grandbabies whom she loved dearly.

Her gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Mt. Zion Church of God in Judsonia.

Arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. 501-982-3400
