Phillip Anthony Thompson, 66, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on January 11, 1955 to the late James Thompson and Marguerite Edwards.
Phillip selflessly served 17 years with the City of Jacksonville as a Law Enforcement Officer and later retired from Baptist Security. He enjoyed shooting and collecting guns, and watching western movies. Phillip loved his family and friends. He was known for telling stories about his law enforcement days, and of course talking politics.
Phillip is preceded in death by his parents James and Marguerite Thompson.
Phillip is survived by his daughter Sherry Miller (Wayne); grandchildren Brittany Woodall, Taylor Delong (Hannah), Haley Miller, and Heaven Miller; and great grandchildren Kali, Bently, Alyssa, Bryson, Evan, and Aubree.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 10am at A Natural State Funeral Service. Service will follow at 11am. Interment will be at Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
