Virgie Daveine “Nana” Burgess of Conway, 78, passed away December 7, 2021. She was born September 11, 1943 to Pete McWilliams and Helen Lucile Luker.
She is preceded in death by her mother Helen Luker; father Pete McWilliams; and her husband Frank Burgess.
She is survived by her son Bryan Hobbs (Angie); daughters Mary Wheeler, Renee Draper; her brother Joe McWilliams (Josie); 26 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many friends and family.
Daveine was an avid member of the First Church of Nazarene. She worked as an accountant at the Northwest Arkansas Community College. She was a very crafty person making blankets, dolls, and quilts. In her free time, she liked to read and play golf. She loved cats but had her special dog Trixie.
An inurnment will be held at 1:30 PM December 17, 2021 at Fayetteville National Cemetery, 1000 South Lieutenant Colonel Leroy Pond Avenue, Fayetteville, AR 72701 under the cemetery pavilion.
