Carline Akin Ford passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at the age of 69. Carline was born May 10, 1952 in Bernice, Louisiana, to the late JC “Crip” Akin and Pauline (Kierbow) Akin.
Carline was a very gentle and kind person. She loved playing the piano, and animals.
Carline was preceded in death by her parents JC “Crip” Akin and Pauline (Kierbow) Akin; her husband Charles Ford; and her partner Howard Hargis.
She is survived by her daughter Lilah Walls; grandchildren Kelsey Walls and Patrick Walls; and brother Dennis Akin.

We enjoyed Carline at the 2 cylinder tractor club meetings and going to parades. Had a nice visit with her at the Sherwood Christmas parade. So sorry for your loss.
So sorry for your loss today…although I d I didn’t have the pleasure in meeting Carline, I can tell by what I’ve heard, we would’ve hit it off! Today’s service was small but beautiful! I’ve been so lucky to have the services with Carlene playing, on Levy United Methodist church’s Facebook page to view! It’s given me insight to her style of playing that has helped with knowing what the church was accustomed to. I hope I made her proud today in the selection of songs chosen. With respect & honor, It’ll be hard to fill her shoes as pianist but I’m sure she’ll be there to help guide us. May God bless & keep you!
