Debra Lynn Stevens, age 63

Debra Lynn Stevens, 63, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. She was born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on April 14, 1958 to Nathan Arthur and the late Charlene Arthur.

Debbie is preceded in death by her mother Charlene Arthur.

Debbie was a very loving wife. She was married to the love of her life, John Stevens, for 44 years. Debbie loved her family and the Lord and was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church in Carlisle, Arkansas. She was also known to enjoy cooking and baking. She loved the outdoors, especially camping, canoeing, and campfires

Debbie is survived by her husband John Stevens; children Jennifer Stevens-Terry and husband Darren, Samuel Stevens and wife Shelli, and Joseph Stevens; father Nathan Arthur; siblings Robert “Bobby” Arthur and wife Paula, Mary Booher, and James Arthur and wife Donita; brothers-in-law James Stevens and David Stevens and wife Kari; and sisters-in-law Therese O’Donnell and husband Chip and Kate Wilmes and husband Chris.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 9:00am with service following at 10:00am at A Natural State Funeral Service; 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. A private burial ceremony will be held at Salem Cemetery in Lonoke, Arkansas at a later date.

    Rest In Peace Debbie. I will miss your smiling face cousin and the times we had together. Love you Bunches. You are gone from this earth but will live on in my heart forever. Love you.
    My prayers are with the family. Lord, I pray you fill their hearts, and minds with warm thoughts and great memories of Debbie. Lift the burden of loss from John and fill his heart and mind with the wonderful memories you gave them these many years they were together. Surround him with love and joy of family and friends.     John, I am very sorry to hear about Debbie. I know your heart is breaking more than you ever thought possible. But remember her love for you and the good memories you shared.     John, I was at Kay’s house when she got the message about your Debbie’s passing. Just wanted to express my heart felt sympathy to you and your family. I know the pain that you are feeling right now. Would love to say it gets easier, but it doesn’t. Just hang on to your memories and the love you shared. That will help get you through the days to come. One day at a time and if that n is too much right now just take one breath at a time.
