Jack Carter Stewart, age 70

Jack Carter Stewart, age 70, of Haskell, AR went to be with the Lord January 29, 2022. He was born July 21, 1951 in Bradley County AR to the late Porter and Pervie Loomis Stewart.

He was a member at Ten Mile Missionary Baptist Church. Family was everything to Jack and he always made sure they knew how much he loved them. He was devoted to his Sunday school class and loved to talk to everyone about Jesus. He never met a stranger and would always go out of his way to help anyone. He was a true southern gentleman and was most comfortable spending time on his family’s farm in Hampton, AR. He loved to be outdoors, hunting & fishing, watching old westerns, and spending time with family & friends.

He is also proceeded in death by a brother, Robert Stewart and sister, Sylvia Kitchens.

He is survived by his devoted Wife, Charlotte Stewart of Haskell, AR, brother JD Stewart  (Georgia) of New Caney, TX, daughter Vallarie Reeves (Nickey) of Banks, AR, son Jack Stewart Jr, of Mt. Vernon, AR, daughter Julie Watson (Matt) of Alexander, AR, son Joe Stewart of Banks, AR,  son Jason Sturm (Misty) of Haskell, AR & daughter Leah Sturm of Haskell, AR. Grandchildren, James Hearnsberger (Destiny) John Hearnsberger, Hali Rushing (Ryan) Tyler, Lily, Blake & Cora Jo Stewart, Justin Sturm (Delayna), Josh & Hanna Sturm, Jesse, Ethan, & Kye Baggett. Great Grandchildren Addi & Jace Hearnsberger, Levi, Luke, Layken, & Leanne Sturm, and a host of nieces, nephews & close friends.

In honor of his last wishes, the family will not be holding a service at this time. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a gift of Love in honor of Jack to his Church at Ten Mile Missionary Baptist Church, 17511 Church Rd, Lonsdale, AR 72087

    Charlotte and family. I’m so sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. We had alot of good times and laughs on the road and I thought of him often. I’m comforted in knowing he is resting in the arms of Jesus now

    My deepest sympathies to the family and loved ones. Jack was a great friend to me when I first came to Arkansas and he will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him . He was a very special man. Rest In Peace Jack.
