Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

James ”Jimbo” Allen Staley, Sr. age 50

James ”Jimbo” Allen Staley, Sr. age 50,  left this life as we know it on Thursday, January 13, 2022.  He was born in Searcy, Arkansas on October 9, 1971. Jimbo as we all knew him, grew up in Ward and stayed very true to home. Jimbo proudly chose to be a police officer for his career. He worked in Austin, Ward, and at the sheriff’s office as a Lonoke County deputy. Jimbo also served on the Ward volunteer fire department for many years. Jimbo had a passion for public service both as a police officer and volunteer fireman. When he wasn’t working he loved to go fishing and loved being with his family most of all.

Jimbo was preceded in death by his loving mother Joe Alice Staley, his father William Doyle Staley, grandmother Florence (Big Momma) Staley, Papa John Staley, Calvin Eugene Staley and several other cousins, aunts, and uncles.

The people left to cherish his memory on this earth are his loving wife, Meagan Staley;  his children; Joline (Jimmy “JD”) Mathis, James Allen “JJ” Staley Jr. (Brittany),  Jacqueline “Jackie”(Kyle) Staley; his two beautiful grandchildren Beau and Maci; his nieces Brianna, Aleigha, and Kinley Staley; and his brothers and sisters; John (Mandy) Staley, William “Buster” Staley, Robert “Bobby” Staley, John David Campbell, Lenita Villagomez, and his special Aunt Martha Hill whom he loved very much, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 10 am in the Chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400. Jimbo’s online guestbook is available at www.anaturalstatefuneralservice.com

You were a brother to me. We grew up together and had many many good and bad times. I used to love our visits and I was always happy to fix yall a meal when you took those lunch breaks. I have many memories as a child and as an adult. I will cherish them all brother. Tell everyone there I love and miss them all and when my time comes I will proudly enter and celebrate with you all. Rest in Love and honor. You deserve your righteous place in heaven. Until we see each other again hold my tears, hug my neck and wear that halo proudly.

Jumbo you were loved. You always tired to shout best and stood up for most anyone you knew. You always wanted to be a police officer and you made that dream come true. You were someone that people knew you could count on and get help from. I have known you for a long time. Life was good to us. We gained three beautiful children from our time together. These children are all grown and living their own lives with babies of their own. I am sad for them because they lost you at such a young age. Grandbabies will never get to know you like others did but we all wait to meet you again. Tell mom and the others that I love them and miss them . I’ll try to hold things in line down here without you. Until we meet again. ❤️
