Shirley Jane Stivers, age 71

Shirley Jane Stivers, 71, of North Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord and celebrate her birthday with her husband, of fifty years, Jerrel Stivers on December 31, 2021.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Jerrel Stivers; parents Edward R and Minnie (Rushing) Copeland; sister Ethel Morden; and children Dania Stivers, Angela Stivers, and Jerrel Stivers Jr.

She is survived by her children Jennifer Shirley, Melinda Harris, and Amber Stivers; grandchildren Aeribellea Hancock, Aenbellea Hancock, Aerionna Hancock, John “Rew” Brinkley, Caleb Harris, Griffin Harris, Luke Harris; and great grandchild Raelynn Taylor.

Shirley was a lifelong member of Harmony Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her kids, gardening, and identifying new and different plants. Shirley also loved making donation bags, anything she could do to help others, and to serve God through helping others.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076, followed by funeral service at 2:00. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery.
