Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you. My family has always been extra close to both Aunt Sylvia Dean and Uncle Bob and each of you. I loved them and always felt welcome in their home. We even shared birthdays with them. They were always welcoming.

Aunt Sylvia Dean was always so happy and the most gracious person I have ever known. I loved visiting in your home. She and Uncle Bob were taking care of 5 kids and Grandma Elliott but didn’t seem to have a care in the world. Their love for each other and you kids was so obvious. Shirley, Rita, Dana, Kenny and Jimmy, Covid fears with my COPD situation prevents me attending any of the events celebrating her life but I want you all to know I love you and pray that you find comfort knowing Aunt Sylvia Dean is now at peace and with Uncle Bob.

Thinking of all of you and Aunt Sylvia Dean! I can’t ever remember seeing Aunt Sylvia Dean without a sweet smile and a soft hug. So many lovely memories from our family reunions with her. I loved her chicken and dumplings and looked forward to them every year. I love all of my family and I am praying for everyone.

Shirley, Kenny, Jimmy, Rita and Dana

My sympathy to all of you. I always thought highly of your mom. She was a gentle soul with an easy smile and quick to laugh; I believe that she passed that trait onto each of you. I also must say how commendable it is to each of you how you were able to take such good and loving care of your mom all of those years; it really tells the quality of your family. I smile to think of Sylvia Dean and Bob reunited; with Bob in his recliner.

  • Angela (Elliott) Axt Posted February 3, 2022 6:39 PM

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Elliott family. Having been a member of the family for many years, I grew to love her so much. She was the grandmother to my boys after they were adopted by Jim. I can say for certain that no one loved as pure she did. I remember Sundays after Church going to Rita’s house for lunch and making memories with her. She was a true blessing to everyone she came in contact with, she was one of a kind. I pray God will comfort you during this time.
