Jennifer Lynn Edgar, age 50, passed away January 27, 2022 in her Greenbrier, Arkansas home surrounded by her loved ones after a two year battle with cancer. Jennifer, “Jenny,” was a selfless, compassionate, hard-working, spunky, and loving woman. Jennifer loved her husband and children with a passion unmatched by anything and carried a heart for people that made you feel warm.
In 1996, Jennifer earned her cosmetology license and found her life’s passion. It was always important to her that every client felt like family when they were in her chair and fabulous when they left her chair, and her countless clients can vouch that she achieved this goal and touched many hearts in the process. She spoke for decades of her ultimate life goal: to open her own salon. Jennifer saw this dream come to fruition in 2019 before the conclusion of her life in her pride and joy, her very own salon, Salon Royale.
Jennifer lived through the word of God and would teach through her experiences with those around her. Jennifer loved her husband and children tremendously and continued on that love through to her grandchildren. She was tender and giving as a Grandmother should be. She was strong and wise as a Mother should be. She was thoughtful, affectionate and loving as a Wife should be. She was talented, adventurous and fearless as a Sister should be. She was loyal and supportive as a Friend should be. Jennifer overcame each and every challenge she crossed in life with a grace unmatched by anyone. She is truly an inspiration to all and will continue to live on in our hearts and minds forever.
Jennifer loved her family above all and will be missed deeply. She is survived by her husband Mark Edgar, her three children; Megan Murphy, Gabriel Pfeifer, and Tristan Edgar. Seven grandchildren, sister Ann Blaylock, brother Terry Hill. Jennifer is preceded in death by her mother Nelda Hill and her father Ralph Cooper. Until we meet again in heaven above.
