Allen Thomas Briley, 69, of Jacksonville passed away January 27, 2022. He was born November 6, 1952, in Chesapeake, Virginia to William Morris and Novella Briley.

Allen was an avid bowler. He loved to travel and working on cars. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service and then he worked at O’Reilly’s in North Little Rock for 20 years.

Allen is preceded in death by his parents William Morris and Novella Briley-Teal; sister Cynthia Scott; brother Ronald Pete Briley; stepfather Luther Teal; and son Dominic Lockett.

Allen leaves behind his wife, Laurie Briley, of 36 years; children Richard Tangaro, Albert Tangaro, David Tangaro, Bonnie Tangaro, Randy Tangaro; grandchildren Azariah and Rakiya; siblings Larry Paul Briley and Patricia Brock.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at A Natural State Funeral Service from 10:30-11:30 with a funeral service to follow. Interment will be held 1:00 P.M. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.

    My Condolences to the Family. I grew up with Allen in Norfolk Virginia. He was a true friend indeed. GOD BLESS.RIP (Duck).

    Thank you so much for your coments. I went to his grave site yesterday. He is laid to rest at the
    Arkansas Veterans Memorial Cemetary. among fellow service men and women from all over this great country. He talked about his life back in the day and I remember him mentioning names of his very good friends. Duck was a one of a kind person and thats what I loved about him. Have a blessed day.
