On Sunday, February 20th 2022, Donna Marie Owens, loving sister, grandmother and mother of 3, passed away at the age of 68.
Donna is preceded in death by her mother Geraldine Roderick, her father Oscar Roy; her sisters Marylin Volentine, Alice (KayKay) Sarman, and Arlene Williams; her brothers David Roderick and Norman Roderick.
Donna was born on November 8th 1953 in Little Rock, Ar. Donna grew up in a large family with 13 siblings, which prepared her for a long life of raising her own family. Donna lived in Alexander Arkansas for the last 32 years. In her spare time she loved gardening, swimming, drinking coffee, and spending time with her grandchildren. Donna was considered a mom to many. She welcomed anyone in her home and always cooked for an army. She was known for her tough love, quick wit and hard work. Her family was most important to her, and she made sure they were taken care of.
Donna is survived by her 3 Children, Toni Ringgold, Christina Rummel, and John Shields. Her 10 grandchildren Heather, Matt, Ashley, Justin, Blake, Faythe, Haylie, Richey, Sara, Poppy. 14 great grandchildren, Jasmine, Kaden, David, Bella, Jordyn, Miya, Isabelle Mercy, Charlotte, Zola, John, Micheal, Addison Her sister Sue, Lea, Bea, Sarah, Nancy, Darlene, and Barbra, and brother Bill Johnson. Along with many extended family she loved dearly.
All are welcome to come to Donna’s celebration of life on March 4th, 7pm at The Church at Benton located at 6682 Congo Road Benton, Ar. 72019.

Donna was a truly amazing woman and overall human, and she is deeply missed by everyone who knew her, especially her family she loved so much. Sending my positive thoughts to the family.
