James Edward Vint JR, age 73

James Edward Vint, Jr., 73 of N.L.R., went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2022.

He was born September 29, 1948 in Morrilton to the late Edward & EmilieVint.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Emilie (Auvenshine) Vint, and his sister Betty R. (Vint) Taylor.

James grew up in the Levy/N.L.R. area & graduated from “Ole Main” High School.  He worked as a supervisor for ARDOT, then as a Master Electrician for Riverside Inc, until retirement.  James loved being outdoors and spending time with family.  He was deeply loved, and will be deeply missed.

James is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Regena (Phillips) Vint, 2 sons, Jason Vint & wife Lindy of Maumelle, Travis Vint of N.L.R., and 2 precious granddaughters, Neela & Georgia Vint of Maumelle.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2:00pm with memorial service to follow at 3:00pm and will be at Cedar Heights Baptist Church, 14510 Cedar Heights Rd, N.L.R., AR

    James was a high school friend. I never forgot him because he was a kind and funny guy. I’m sorry for his family’s loss. I’m sure God will get you through this.

    James was a classmate NlLRHS 1968. He was my boyfriend on the 10th grade. He was very nice and a gentle soul. I too lost my husband. The best advise is stay busy. He was a Christian. Man. Thoughts and prayers.
