Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Johnny L. Shaw, age 64

Johnny L. Shaw left this life Friday, February 18, 2022. He was born February 2, 1958 to the late John W. and Kitty Gail Shaw.

He was a jack of many trades. One of his favorite jobs and the one with the best stories was when he was a fur trapper. Later in life he owned Prices Auto Sales after years of being a mechanic. After “retiring”, he and his wife owned The Rustic Roost Flea Market. He loved to visit and swap stories with anyone that would. He was an avid hunter; spending many days with his brothers, son, nephews, sons-in-law, and friends hunting and fishing. People that knew him best always knew they were welcome at his house anytime. Many times, you could find him outside shooting the breeze with family and friends around a fire. He loved tending to his goats and chickens.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Pamela Shaw of Beebe; daughters Melissa (Eric) Williams of Carlisle, Angela (Chip) Webber of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Mandy (Kyle) Thompson of Beebe; one son Adam Shaw of Marble Colorado; grandchildren Destiny, Clint, and Lorelei Shaw, Charles and Katie Webber, and Anna Thompson; sisters Joyce Shaw, Phyllis (Daniel) Adams of Carlisle, and Patricia Nelson of Conway; and brothers Robert (Emily) and Rickey Shaw of Carlisle. He also leaves behind many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many special lifelong friends.

Because he wasn’t into all the frills, he will be cremated and a special gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate his life.

Arrangements entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service. 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. 501-982-3400.
