Joy Dobbins, age 76

Joy Dobbins passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the age of 76. She was born October 8, 1945 in Texas.

Joy is preceded in death by her husband Herman Dobbins; parents Tom Chester and Frances Alice Pool; stepchildren Buddy Dobbins, Michael Dobbins, Bobby Dobbins, and Kay Corbitt; siblings Emma Deglopper, Kenneth Pool, and Coy Pool.

She is survived by her children Pamela Sue Carpenter, and Robert Lee Dobbins (Becky); stepchildren Timmy Dobbins, Martha Thompson, Billy Dobbins, and Tony Dobbins; grandchildren Brandon Carpenter, Michael Carpenter, Kyle Dobbins, Marshall Williams, Robert Dobbins Jr., Tyler Moore, and Jessica Moore; great grandchildren Kassidy Moore, Abby Moore, Kayson Moore, Braxton Carpenter, Jayden Carpenter, Eleanor Carpenter, Maverick Dobbins, Madison Cole, Gavin Cole, and Tinsley Dobbins; brother GW Pool (Patsy).

Joy loved cooking and baking, participating in cooking and baking contests, and making jewelry. She also enjoyed fishing, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.
