Jeffery Dickerson passed away on March 19, 2022 at the age of 12. Jeffery was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 09, 2009. He was an outdoorsman – like his dad, he loved to fish, water ski, and ride his bike. He was attentive – frequently picking wildflowers when he got off the school bus, arranging them and bringing them home to his mother, Madeline. Oddly for a 12-year-old, he was an old soul. He loved to visit with the older generation, soaking up their knowledge and experiences. He enjoyed doing things for others – he helped out with adult bible studies, from setting up tables and chairs for bible study to preparing and serving meals. He was a frequent flyer at church – even attending Wednesday night services to gain knowledge of the Bible and spend time fellowshipping with others his own age. He was an excellent student at West Side in Greer’s Ferry where he earned a trophy for most AR points scored in the 2020-2021 school year. He enjoyed the short time he was able to play baseball, pre-Covid. What did Jeffery want to be when he grew up? Putting it simply, like his dad – God fearing and honest – and fishing – ALWAYS FISHING!
Jeffery’s memory will forever be cherished by his dad and mom, Tracy Chambers and Madeline Greenwood. Jeffery is survived by his paternal grand-mother Sandy Weber, maternal grand-parents Randy and Jayne Verser, maternal grandparent Ray Greenwood, maternal great-grandparents Dennis and Marsha Wilkins, siblings Tara Chambers and Robin Chambers. Nephews Dalton Kostboth and Christopher White. Niece Anniston Jones.
Preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Robin Chambers. Paternal great grandparents John and Benetha Chambers. Great grandparents Henry and Marjorie Weber.
Arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.

I am blessed to have been able to get to know this fine young man. I miss him on Earth but I know he is in Heaven with the Lord and I will see him again.
I’ll always cherish what you said to me …. I have another Nana but she’s not near as nice as you are , kids always say what’s on their mind . I didn’t get to spend much time with you but what I did was awesome , I love you !!!
He was beloved soul who always helped me out, we would always talk about his parents and his family. Although he is no longer with us, I will always cherish the memories him and I shared. In all honesty he was a great person and friend, and his tragic death was very unexpected.
I’m so very sorry to hear about the loss of your son, but loved hearing about his life and the nature of his heart. I hope the family is able to reach out to others around them and lean on them. I pray that the family, Jeffery’s friends, teachers, classmates, and anyone else touched by Jeffery, is able to find peace.
Me and Jeffery would share funny jokes at lunch I will always remember the memorizes and cherish them.
