Jim Junior Proctor, age 88

Jim Junior Proctor, 88, passed away February 27, 2022. He was born in Fair Oaks, Arkansas to Joseph and Ruby Proctor on June 4, 1933.

Jim was a retired Foreman from the Cross County Road Department as well as serving in the U.S. Army. He took care of his wife, Corina, until she passed away in 2011. He loved turkey hunting, fishing, spending time with his friends and family, playing the banjo and mandolin, and performing with his blue grass band, the Blue Ridge Trio.

Jim is preceded in death by his wife; Corina E. Proctor; mother Ruby Proctor; Father Joseph Proctor; brothers JR Proctor, Joe Proctor, and Julian Proctor; and son-in-law Terry Elliott.

Jim is survived by his daughters Jannett Lee Presley (Gary Presley) of Jonesboro, AR, Lillian Ann Elliott of Tyler, Texas, and Bonnie Corina Southerland (Todd Southerland) of Greenbrier, AR; son Jim Junior Proctor, Jr (Carmen Proctor) of Sherwood, AR; brother Jackie Proctor; sisters Della Mae Holley and Ollie Fay Mason; best friends Jim Grady and Grover Slocum and 11 grandkids, 18 great grandkids, and 4 great great grandkids.

A Graveside Memorial service will be held at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery located at 3600 Hwy 163 Birdeye, Arkansas 72324 on Thursday March 10, 2022 at 12:00 PM.
