Words cannot express the loss i feel. We almost made it to 48 years knowing each other. There is not a day that I won’ t think about all the good times we had. You were the most gentle person I’ve ever known. I love you and will miss you. rest in peace. God bless you and your family

  • Don (and Karen Hester) Posted March 6, 2022 10:41 PM

Meerdink, we almost made it knowing each other 48 years, I will always treasure that. From the first day we met, you had just moved from Colorado, we hit it right off in school. Always together. You were the best friend anyone could ever have had. The gentlest person I knew. I feel selfish wanting you still here with us but I know you’re not suffering anymore. I miss your smile. I hope you’re looking down watching over us and smiling from Heaven with Rupert by your side. Maybe our days will then be brighter. Good Lord willing, we’ll meet again and be the best of friends again. I love you and I miss you.

Mike, you were an awesome guy and teacher. You took me under your wing and showed me how to build pools while enjoying the time I had. I still can’t believe you’re gone man.
