Theresa “Teri” K (Gehrke, Lindsey) Rife, age 69, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday March 2, 2022 at CHI St Vincent’s Hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Theresa was born July, 4 1952 at Mercy Hospital in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
Theresa is survived by her adopted mother, Jean Haak, a daughter Theresa (Wayne) Goeman and a son Lawrence “ Larry” (Lisa) Lindsey. Grandchildren Kristina, Tyler, Emily, Alexis, Mariah, Hayley & great grandchildren Ace, Ayla, Abigail, Tjay, Charles, & Neveah and many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, David Rife, adopted dad, John Haak, her biological parents, a sister, 2 brothers, and a grandson, Joshua Summerlin.
Theresa or “Teri” or “Nana Teri” as she was known by her close friends and family lived a lot of her life in Indiana, then Arkansas & Texas, back to Indiana before settling again in Hot Springs, AR where she spent the last year helping take care of her adopted mom “Grandma Jeanie”
Theresa had a love for animals and would always put them before anyone or anything.
Memorial contributions can be made in honor of her to any animal shelter of the donors choice.
