Carolyn Ann Simpson, age 84

Carolyn Ann Simpson, 84, of Jacksonville, Arkansas went to be with her Lord on March 28, 2022. She was born May 30, 1937 to Levi and Mamie Young in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Carolyn loved the Lord, she served him with all of her heart, and she served in many ministries.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents Levi and Mamie Young and six brothers and sisters.

Carolyn is survived by her children Emily Hale, Charles Sanders, and Randy Cardwell (Lamanda) ; grandchildren Misty Sanders, Eliott Purtle, BJ Hatchcock, Leigh Sanders, Luke Sanders, Randall Cardwell (Cera), Cory Rogers, and Paige Scott; great grandchildren Stormie Sanders, Devan Tate, Skylar Dodge, Malea Smith, Kolby Young, Kaleb Young, Zion Mansfield, Zuri Mansfield, and Rayden Cardwell; and special friends Carla and Captain Robert Washington and Jeannie Melton.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service. 501-982-3400.

    I knew Carolyn for Many years working at Western Sizzlin as a waitress and working through Pathfinders, Carolyn would also take a number of Clients to Church. We will miss you

    I’m so proud that I had the privilege of knowing is Carolyn she was a mother to many and she served the Lord with all her heart. I know she’s in Heaven with her family and Punkin and RaggMopp,and so many more. She’s probably sewing or crocheting beanies and singing the Lord sure gonna miss her.
    I’m so sorry for your loss Emily and Charlie and famy sending y’all my condolences and prayers…
    Ms.. Carolyn I won’t say goodbye but I’ll see you again and I love you and miss you. 🙏
