Darrell M. Underwood, age 59

Darrell M. Underwood was born in Little Rock, AR on March 27th, 1963 to George H. Underwood and Vezeniaious E. Underwood.

He was preceded in death by Darrell parents George and Vezeniaious Underwood, his sisters Lucinda Underwood and Nina Underwood.

He leaves to cherish memory (sister) Janice Harper (Jax,AR)Brothers George H. Robinson (GA), Thaddeus Underwood & Patrick Underwood (LR,AR); Nieces Vanessa R. Cole (Cornelius), Michelle Underwood, Brenda Underwood; Nephews Tony Jackson, Corey Richards, Cj Cole, Eric Cole and Meshach Cole along with a host of great nieces and nephews.

Darrell was a gifted artist, great cook, small engine part engineer and a karate enthusiast. Darrell’s life an end with his death, it was just the end of his mortal journey with the lord. Darrell passed away April 7, 2022 at the young age of 59 after an unexpected illness. His memory will live on in the heart of those who loved him and will continue to honor his legacy, by remembering the fun, loving, courageous and eccentric times that were created whenever Darrell was present. Darrell loved telling stories about his late father exaggerated war times, his brother who ate biscuits off the floor from pan mishandlings, or even times when Darrell had to show non-believers that there’s actions behind the words he’s speaking. Darrell was always willing to share with non-believers that words had consequences. Darrell took great pride in his hobbies. Whether that was obtaining an old bike and restoring it to its former glory, reading, drawing/painting masterpieces that leaves you speechless by his imaginativeness and his artistic ability to illustrate something that has only viewed within his mind.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Friday April 15, 2022 at 10:00am at Arkansas Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

    I’m going to miss my friend I would always look forward for Thursday just to see and talk with him he always encourages me not too let things stress me out love you my friend you will truly be missed
