Beloved friend and dedicated father to Matt, Ray Maurice Phillips age 71 of Austin, AR passed away Thursday April 7, 2022. Ray was born in LaFayette, Alabama on February 4, 1951 and proudly served 3 tours of duty.
If anyone knew Ray, under that gruff exterior was a sweet and caring man that would do anything for anyone. He could always make you laugh, and it was always definitely an adventure when you were around him. He was preceded in death by his parents, and loving wife of 35 years, Barbara Ann Phillips and is survived by his son, Ray Matthew “Matt” Phillips and many, many dear friends.
A private memorial service will be announced at a later date for family and friends.

So sorry for your loss , I’ve know the family for awhile .
I will miss you Ray. You were so good to Bobbi. You were a little rowdy but cool. Thank you for being so good to Brittany, Brad, and Benny. We love you and will miss miss you bunches. Fly high brother. You were bigger than life and now you and Bobbi are together with your wings at God’s throne. Until we meet again, save my spot.
