Donna Melba Hogue Johnson, age 69

Donna Melba Hogue Johnson of the Oak Grove Community of North Little Rock, age 69, entered life eternal on the 2nd of May 2022.  Born in Little Rock on St. Patrick’s Day, 17 March 1953, the daughter of Chloe Melba Ghormley Tatum Hogue and Donald Edward Hogue.  She was the granddaughter of John Astor and Sadie (Carlton) Ghormley and Walter Hanson and Mamie Helenah (Horn) Hogue.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bruce “Skipper” Hogue, and cousin, Ronnie Ghormley.

She is survived by her daughter Kim Johnson of North Little Rock, granddaughter Calee Chloe Johnson, and one brother, John Tatum of Little Rock.  She is also survived by two nephews, John-Ross Tatum and Blake Hogue.

Donna was one of the “Camp Robinson kids” that grew up on the post in the 1960’s and 1970’s where her father was a member of the Arkansas National Guard.  She established lifelong friendships while living at Camp Robinson. She retired from the State of Arkansas, DSR, at Camp Robinson. She was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.

A memorial service and internment will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 10:00am at Mount Holly Columbarium Garden; 1200 Broadway, Little Rock, Arkansas.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service. 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.
