Doris Chase, 78, of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away May 8, 2022. She was born May 16, 1943 in Caruthersville, Missouri to Naomie Crews.
Doris started her career as a CNA, and ended it as stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, shopping, going out to eat, and going to church. Doris loved going to Branson and watching the Christian shows, she was always on the go.
Doris is preceded in death by her husband Murray; daughters Laura Varnadore and Connie Sue Varnadore; and brother David Crews of Dexture, Missouri.
Doris leaves behind her son Ronnie Varnadore (Sharon) of Carlisle, Arkansas; daughter Audrey Sizemore (Mark) of New Madrid, Missouri; son Wayne Varnadore of Portageville, Missouri; grandsons Charles Perkins, Billy Ray Ross (Monica), Drew Varnadore, Micah Jacobs; granddaughter Tiffany Arkless (Wes); 10 great grandchildren; and siblings Jane Townsend of Cape Girardea, Missouri, Peggy Nevels of Wappapello, Missouri, Ginny Brown of Memphis, Tennessee, Hershel Crews Jr of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Becky Beard of Dexture, Missouri, Mary Jane Jenkins of Dexture, Missouri, and Donnie Crews of Dexture, Missouri; as well as other extended family.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 P.M. at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. Interment will be at Center Point Cemetery, 2997 Centerpoint Road, Hazen, Arkansas 72064 following funeral service.
