Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Billy Don Lott, Sr., age 79

Billy Don Lott, Sr. was born on October 17, 1942.  After a long battle with cancer and other health issues, he left his earthly home on June 16, 2022.  He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Lott, son Billy Lott, Jr., daughter Kimberly Felch (husband Duane), stepson Donnie Odom, and stepdaughters Teresa Scott and Cindy Westacott.  He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He leaves behind sisters, Johnny Faye Rounsavall (husband Fred), Carolyn Holland, and Reta Higginbotham.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Lucille Lott, and his sister Georgia Gail Stanislowski.

He served in the Army early in his life and spent most of his professional career as a Carman for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.  He loved eagles and collected baseball caps.  He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  His wife, Mary Ann, was his high school sweetheart and they were reunited after more than 30 years of separation.  Together they raised Cindy and helped to raise several grandchildren.

He was a family man and loved to spend time with his loved ones gathered around.  He loved the Lord with all his heart.  Before he got sick, he loved to work on cars.  Even after his diagnosis, he was still someone to call upon when questions about car repair were asked.  He had a kind and generous heart and loved many friends as though they were family.  He was known by many names, but his favorites were Daddy, Brother, Bapaw, Grandpa, and Sweetheart.  He was truly Mary Ann’s Sweetheart.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at First Assembly of God Church in North Little Rock.  Visitation will be at 10:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am.

Arrangements are under the trusted direction of A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.

I am soo sorry for your loss. He will definitely be missed. I won’t ever forget when we went on a cruise back in 2005 and he tried to scare me by fake-throwing me overboard many times! 🤣 I will be praying for you all! I LOVE YOU ALL!!
