James Lee Plunkett, age 56, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. He was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on September 10, 1965, to Dewey Plunkett and Linda Giles Plunkett.
He graduated with the class of 1983 from Caraway High School. James had a contagious smile, and he loved his family dearly. He loved going to the beach, on cruises, and going to family gatherings.
James is preceded in death by his mother Linda (Giles) Plunkett; his mother-in-law Juanita Newman; and his grandparents R.S. and Elise Giles, J.L. and Lucille Bell, and Charlie and Icie Gray.
He is survived by his husband Randy Newman; father and stepmother Dewey and Madonna Plunkett; his siblings Jalena Primm, Michel (Missy) Meadows Jody Sturgeon, and Heath Primm; and a host of gorgeous nieces and tater tot nephews.

A family-hosted graveside service will be held on July 16, 2022, at Caraway Cemetery in Caraway, Arkansas at 10:00 AM.
