Jeffery Lynn Free, age 53, of Beebe, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 4, 2022. He was born in Searcy, Arkansas on September 21, 1968 to Margie Dusenbury-Free and the late Omar Free.
Jeff is preceded in death by his father Omar Free; bonus parents Raymond and Aileen Martindill; mother-in-law Loyce Chambers; and sister Gail Free.
Jeff was the most devoted husband for 21 days shy of 33 years. He was the greatest father and has left very big shoes to fill for his son-in-laws. He was so proud to be a Grumpy to his grandgirls. Jeff was the most gentle, giving soul. He is deeply missed, but we are so thankful our Hope and comfort come from our Lord. Jeff was a devout Christian, and an active member of more than 21 years at Valley Baptist Church in Searcy where he could be found in the back pew on Sundays. When Jeff wasn’t traveling with his family he liked to hang out at Precision Auto in Jacksonville where he spent his time helping others.
Jeff leaves behind his loving wife Christina Jean Chambers Free of Beebe; daughters Emily Christina Free Jones (Jacob Jones) of Beebe and MaKenzie Lynn Free Briney (Ridge Briney) of Beebe; grandchildren Cambrie Christina Jones and Kenlie Hope Jones of Beebe; mother; Margie Free, sister Judy Roberts (Gary Roberts) of Searcy; and many more friends and extended family members too numerous to name.

Jeff was a beloved friend of our family. My brother, Jimmy Prince (1968-2009) and Jeff were great friends. Jeff and Christy have been such dear friends to Jimmy and Robin through the years. To all the family, we are so very sorry for your loss and are praying for you all. May you find strength in the Almighty to sustain and comfort you.
Our hearts are broken, you will be truly missed.
So sorry to hear about Jeff. He sure loved his family. I have so many memories of him at all the girls pageants. He was always cheering them on,with that big smile. Prayers for you all.
Prayers for you and your family
I am so sorry
Besides Ken and Johnny, I guess Jeff was the first person I came to know at Precision Auto. I remember that first meeting very well and Jeff gave me that warm friendly smile that was always there on his face. I can’t remember ever seeing him without it-with a hint of laughter hiding in the background. He was one of the most truly humble and kind men I’ve ever met…a rarity these days. Rest now, Jeff, you earned it, my friend. You will certainly be missed by everyone who knew or loved you. Including me. ❤️
Dear Christy & Family, I can only try to imagine the heartache. Jeff had the cutest dimples. His love of God and Family showed in everything he did. I hope you can feel the love coming your way. Much Love & Prayers from your extended family in Michigan.
