JoAnn Holt, age 83, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away Friday, June 17, 2022. She was born August 25, 1938 to Thoral and Reba Huffman.
JoAnn was a wonderful and loving wife. She married her husband, Ross Holt, on September 2, 1967. JoAnn was all about her granddaughters. She loved sports, watching the razorbacks, and going shopping. She didn’t know a stranger. JoAnn was a member of the Bayou Meto Baptist Church.
JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents Thoral and Reba Huffman and brothers Bobby and John Charles Huffman.
JoAnn leaves behind her husband Jimmy Ross Holt; children Jason Ross Holt and Joseph Holt (Michelle); grandchildren Bailey and Lindsey Holt; siblings Barbara Rocker (Burt), Ed Huffman (Janice), and Jim Huffman (Marcille).
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022 starting at 6:00 P.M. at A Natural State Funeral Service, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at A Natural State Funeral Service, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076.

JoAnn was a wonderful person and I will cherish the memories I have of her, from our Bayou Meto days, to coaching our girls softball team, my son and her granddaughter (Bailey) going to Prom and running into her at Wal-Mart and talking forever. My love and prayers to the family. Heaven gained another angel!
Everyone loved working with Joann at Tolleson Elementary. She was dedicated to helping the staff and school be the best it could be. She will be truly missed. My heart goes out to all of the Holt family during this time of sorrow.
