I knew her as a firecracker. She was committed to helping others, especially the underdog. She was a fierce attorney and a loving, caring person. I am proud to have known Lisa and to have witnessed her acts of kindness firsthand. I considered her a friend and a mentor.

Mrs. Douglas welcomed me as an employee and had been an amazing mentor/boss over the years. She introduced me to the legal field and for that I am grateful. She’s forever in my heart. RIL Attorney Douglas.

I will always remember Mrs. Douglas as a loyal, fiercely intelligent, dryly hilarious, courageous, driven, creative, and strong woman and mother who worked hard for her family and did everything she could to help her daughter get a good start in life in the best ways she knew how. She will be so thoroughly missed, and I’m grateful to have known her. Peace and love to those grieving.

Lisa was the best boss I ever had! I will miss her so very much. The office is too quiet without her. She was a mentor, friend and all around fantastic person.

This has been some very saddening news! I know she is with our Lord in glory but she is truly missed here on earth. Lisa was a good friend. I will always cherish the good times we had taking our walks and doing things together with our children. Good times, great memories, laughter. Lisa was very caring, bold, determined, disciplined, full of faith, brave. I miss her. She will always be remembered.
My prayers are with Arlin and Megan and the family and friends for strength and comfort and peace.
