Rickey Joe Millsaps, age 67, of Mount Vernon, Arkansas, went to be with the lord on July 19, 2022. He was born on May 19, 1955 to Edmun and Odene Millsaps.
Rickey enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Rickey is preceded in death by his parents Edmun and Odene Millsaps, and his brother Darrell Millsaps.
Rickey leaves behind his children Thomas Millsaps (Courtney), Jeffrey Millsaps, Michael Millsaps (Mandy), Stephen Millsaps, and Jonathan Shelton (Dustee); grandchildren Tristen Millsaps, Landen Millsaps, Emerson Millsaps, Makayla Shelton, Kaden Terrell, Kole Batchelor, Alex Shelton, Madison Shelton, Ryder Holley, and Lillee Shelton; siblings Gary Don Millsaps, Carron Baker, and Kevin Millsaps.
The visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. with funeral to follow at 11:00 A.M. at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, 1139 Red Hill Road, Romance, Arkansas. Interment will be held after the funeral at Romance Cemetery, 295 Highway 31, Romance, Arkansas.

To RJ’s family…..my thoughts and prayers are with each of you. I know you are going to miss him. Richie and Rickey Joe had some great times here on earth and I know they are having a wonderful time in heaven – probably catching a bunch of fish!
