Thomas Harold Rettstatt Jr, age 49

Thomas Harold Rettstatt Jr, 49, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, July 7th, 2022. Thomas (Scooter) was born to Thomas Harold Sr. and Linda Sue Faught on June 27, 1973.  He was an excellent mechanic and enjoyed racing, drawing, basketball, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Cruce (Rettstatt); six children: Christianna Rettstatt, Stacey Johnson, Janie Roberts, Kodi Rettstatt, Austin Rettstatt, and Peyton Dennis; his mother; brother, Tony Rettstatt; three sisters: Tonya Rettstatt, Dana Gill, and Samantha Ballard; nine grandchildren: Jarrod, Armani, Gracelynn, Zion, Amelia, Kameron, Serenity, Daxton, and Hudson; three step-children: Peyton, Jordan, and Hazel; and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandfathers: William F. Richardson and Charles Virgil Rettstatt; grandmothers: Ruby Jones and Rosa Ray Rettstatt; brother, Robbie Dale Richardson; uncles: Jay Koonz, Richard, Joe, and Pete Rettstatt; and cousin, Christopher Richardson.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076.

Arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service.

    I love you… I have always loved you! You were always my protector from the very first day we met so very long ago! You brought me into your family and always treated me like I was just that family! My heart hurts so bad! I know you will continue to watch over all of us! Give to Robby a hug for me! Fly high!

    I love you scooter . I’m very glad at the time we got to spend together you loved me an I loved you since day one . Seeing you day before you passed away at least made my heart happy . You will forever be missed .

    Your momma Is still waiting for you to call back as you told her you would Thursday morning but you never got to bubba .she an I are lost beyond lost. We where planing on coming to see you Friday but Friday was to late I am so sorry bubba I will for ever love and miss you an mo. May never get over it tell Rob we all say hello an y’all fly high together oh by the way I’m sure Sally has made it to u by now give her a hug for me

    Dad it still seems so unreal! I can’t believe that I am having to let you spread your wings and fly! I know you will always be by my side to guide me down the right path! You were my twin my best friend my everything! Now I can’t call you I can’t write you a letter I can’t pull up to visit you at 3am when I can’t sleep! Idk how to do life without you! I still needed you here dad! You been through so much and still always kept your head up! You were truly my idol ! I don’t allow anyone or anything stop me from what I want to do!! I love you pops #foreverfree

    Was a great person. Very outgoing spirit. Made everybody laugh. Was a good troop. And a soldier even through losing his legs. Run like the wind with God.

    I can just see him when he was a young boy becoming a young man he was unique and that’s what made him Scooter

    Scooter! I can’t believe this has happened. It has been too long already cuz. Planned to catch up with you at Uncle Pete’s Memorial. You will be greatly missed. I will cherish the memories of our childhood and the new ones of once I met Jerry and we all already knew each other! You are gone too soon! We are supposed to become the crazy Rettstatt Elders! Just breaks my heart. Keeping your precious family in my prayers along with Aunt Linda and Tony. Love you Cuz!
