Vivian Ann Matthews, 79, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. She was born in Morrilton, Arkansas on May 16, 1943 to the late William Howard Taft Saulsberry and Dwenderlyn Harris Saulsberry.
Vivian is preceded in death by her parents William and Dwenderlyn Saulsberry; four siblings; husband Eugene Matthews; and son Sean Matthews.
Vivian was a devout church member and servant of God. She worked as a librarian and was a champion for education for many years. Vivian was a beautiful person who loved to read.
Vivian leaves behind her siblings Alsia Cunningham (Huie), William Saulsberry (Linda), Mavis McDaniel (James), Howard Saulsberry (Carolyn), and James Saulsberry (Mae); and many extended family and friends.
A family hosted service will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 11:00am at Grace United Methodist Church; 1075 Hogan Lane, Conway, Arkansas, 72034.
