Bobby Joe Gibbs Sr. passed away peacefully on August 3, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents Margaret and Oliver Gibbs. Along with his three siblings: Rebecca Stubblefield, Danny Gibbs, Jimmy Gibbs.
He is survived by his 3 children: Bobbyjoe (Kaye) Gibbs Jr, Lee (Heather Paquin) Gibbs, and Michael David (Charlie) Gibbs. Along with 10 grandchildren,12 great grandchildren and many extended family members.
A family-hosted celebration of life ceremony will be held on September 3, 2022 at his farm at 1915 Hwy 31, Beebe, AR 72012.

Bobby Joe was simply known as BJ Gibbs where he worked as a conductor on the Missouri Pacific and Union Pacific railroads. While BJ was serious minded a lot of the time, he was good at his job and a pleasure with which to work.
