Judy C. Lucas, 75, of Austin, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 22, 2022. She was born in Wynne, Arkansas on July 8, 1947 to Paul Caubble and Mabel Elois Covey.
Judy is preceded in death by her father Paul Caubble; mother Mabel Elois Covey Cotton; husband Major Edward S. Lucas; daughter Jackie Strickland Sweatt; and grandson Justin Lucas.
Judy was a loving daughter, wife, mother, Nana, and G Nana. She enjoyed her family. Judy also loved to travel, the beach, camping, trout fishing, and playing water volleyball with neighbors. She retired from RGIS Inventory and also worked for the Leader Newspaper.
Judy leaves behind her son Jacob Conner (Laura) of Cabot, Arkansas; daughter Joretta Ashmore (Les) of Austin, Arkansas; granddaughter Amy Sage of Austin, Arkansas; grandson Todd Sage (Allie) of Alexander, Arkansas; granddaughter Nichole Precord (Shawna) of Malvern, Arkansas; grandson Chris Sweatt (Brandi) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; grandson Tyler Sweatt (Mary) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; grandson Cody Sweatt of Cabot, Arkansas; grandson Jared Conner (Chelsea) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 10:00am at A Natural State Funeral Service; 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.
