Arnold “Pat” Jerome Patterson, age 81, of Mena, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on August 27, 2022. He was born in Buffalo, Nebraska on January, 8, 1941 to Cornelius Samuel Patterson and Clara Martha Wilson Patterson.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents Cornelius and Clara Patterson; brothers Leroy Patterson and Neal Patterson; sisters Signa Smith, Marjorie Russell, Frances Edwards, Charlotte Plith, and Winnie Davis.
Pat loved his family deeply, enjoyed two-stepping to country swing, and delighted in traveling across the U.S. in his RV with his most treasured traveling companion, Sharon Robbins. He was the most selfless person and was loved by all who knew him.
Pat leaves behind his daughter Brenda Patterson Hurst with husband Lee Hurst; son Brian Dean Patterson with wife Stephanie Patterson; grandchildren Corinne Hawbaker, Chelsea Patterson, Ashton Patterson, Brack Hurst, and Emma Hurst; great-grandchildren Clara Hawbaker and Adeline Hawbaker; sisters Audrey Patterson Huffman, Deborah Patterson Black, and Patricia Patterson Janes; and significant other Sharon Cruse Robbins.
A family-hosted celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 4:00-7:00pm at Skyline Café in Mena, Arkansas. Drop-in anytime.

Such a dear uncle, friend and supportive man. So blessed to be one of his many nieces! He treated everyone with so much respect and could always make you laugh. He is surely missed.
He was such a storyteller and could make me smile. I always thought he was a giant when I was small being so tall , visiting his Sister Frances & Marshall in Nebraska . My parents thought the world on him. I guess it rubbed off. I will miss you Uncle Arnold .. A “gentle Giant ”
