Delbert “Marshall” Everett, 76, passed from this life on Saturday, September 3, 2022
Marshall was a lifelong resident of Cabot, Arkansas. He had a long and distinguished career with Arkansas Louisiana Gas Company, having risen through the ranks from meter reader to upper management.
Marshall loved gardening, cooking, fishing, wildlife and his constant companion, his dog, Jenna. He was an Arabian horse enthusiast and was often announcer and master of ceremonies at the Arkansas Arabian Horse Club shows. He was an avid collector of antiques of all kinds and especially Lionel trains. Marshall believed in hard work and tradition. He had a big presence, a big voice and a booming laugh. One of his favorite things was to have breakfast, coffee, and company at Cheryl’s Diner and regular lunches with his classmates from Cabot High School.
Marshall was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Zena, his father Clarence, his sisters, Jean Spence, and Lois Middleton.
Marshall is survived by his brother Alan (Cathy) Everett, his sons Ross (Brandy) Everett, Patrick (Keiko) Everett; his grandsons Dylan (Cia) Everett, Austin (Taylor) Everett, Kai Everett, Skyler Everett; great grandson Mason Everett, ex-wife and mother of his sons, Judith Fox, and ex-wife Liddy-Ann Everett, dearly loved nieces and nephews along with a host of other friends and loved ones.
Visitation will be held in Jacksonville, Arkansas at A Natural State Funeral Service on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 5 pm, with a memorial service to follow immediately after at 6 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Marshall’s name to the Cabot Animal services to benefit shelter animals like his beloved dogs Jenna and Zoe.

RIP Marshall
I’m so sorry to hear about Marshall. May God Bless his family during this difficult time. He was such a nice kind man. He worked with us (the City of Cabot) on many occasions to keep the floodway cleaned up behind his home. Again, my condolences to the family.
