Jerry Joe Arthur Sr. (77) of Jacksonville, AR was born September 17, 1944, and adopted by Gilbert and Cleta Arthur in Joplin, MO. He died September 2, 2022. He was in the United States Navy after attending high school in Kansas City, MO. He served on the USS Brice Canyon.
Jerry retired from route sales after more than 30 years. He enjoyed NASCAR, motorcycles, and spending time with his great grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 43 years Jewell, his granddaughter Tara Diane and great-grandson Skylar England. He leaves behind two daughters, Tammy Arthur of Jacksonville, AR, Debbie Bledsoe of Benton, AR, and his son Jerry Joe Arthur Jr. (Kerrie) of Scott, AR, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and his brother Gilbert Arthur (Mary) of Portland, OR.

I am so sorry to hear he has passed, my heart goes out all of his loved ones. I am so very happy I was able to meet him when I did.
