Linda Diane Newman-Sykes, 73, of Greenwood, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 10, 2022. She was born in Mansfield, Arkansas on September 21, 1948, to William “Moose” Earl Newman and Mary Alice Fancher-Newman.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Mary Newman; son Danny Ray Sykes; and brother Glenn Newman.
Linda was a registered nurse for many years and loved serving in the medical field. She was very creative and enjoyed making crafts and ceramics. In her spare time, she loved spending time with her family. Linda was a very loving mother and sister. She loved her family with all her heart and will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Linda leaves behind her son Chantz Sykes and wife Alicia; sister Rebecca “Becky” Roberts; and many more friends and extended family members.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM on her birthday Wednesday September 21, 2022, at Cross Church located at 1709 Johnson Road in Springdale, Arkansas.

I love you Momma Linda and miss you dearly. Thank you for giving me the greatest love of my life, your son. You were truly the best mother-in-law a girl could ever ask for.
