Eva Lee Castleberry, age 91, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on October 1, 2022. She was born on February 17, 1931 in Caraway, Arkansas, to Roy and Ruby Simpson.
Eva retired as a postmaster after 42 years of working at the Amagon post office. She attended the First Baptist Church in Sherwood, Arkansas. Eva Lee loved her weekly calls with her Grace Sunday school class. She loved her family more than anything, her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She never missed an event for her grandchildren, especially baseball games. She and her husband Roy were instrumental in starting the Amagon Baptist Church.
Eva is preceded in death by her husband Roy Castleberry; parents Roy and Ruby Simpson; and son Julian R. Castleberry; siblings Delores Lamb and Jerry Simpson.
Eva leaves behind her children Randall (Patty) and Rickey (Margee); grandchildren Lee Caldwell (Eric), Michael Castleberry (Sarah), Sara Cowling (Alex), Patrick Castleberry, Brett Castleberry, and Tisha Castleberry Maki; great grandchildren Cooper and Caroline Caldwell, Scarlett Staley, and Sloan Castleberry; nieces Terry Whitley, Ranette Gamble, and Stacy Thompson; and nephew Royce Simpson.

The visitation will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Union Grove Cemetery in Bono, Arkansas at 1:00 P.M. Graveside will follow at 2:00 P.M.

So sorry to learn of the passing of Aunt Eva Lee. She was a special person to my mother.
