Schon Rebecca “Scharlene” Brown age 67,

Schon Rebecca “Scharlene” Brown age 67, of Greenbrier, AR passed away on October 27, 2022.

She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Charlie and Ruby Brown.  She spent most of her youth and young adulthood in Farmerville, LA. Her siblings were Charles Wade Arendsen, Ernest Olen McDonald, Joseph Gaylord Keener, Sally Evelyn Crumley, Georgia Anne Johnson Becker, countless nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family as well as Bam Bam who was her friend and beloved dachshund for over 22 years.

On May 18, 2014 she graduated valedictorian of her GED class. She then furthered education at Heritage College in Little Rock, Arkansas.  She lived in multiple states including Louisiana, Tennessee and ended her time on this earth in Arkansas. She enjoyed riding her Harley, racing dirt track cars and spending as much time as possible with her granddaughters.

She was survived by her two sons Steve Rex Hayes, Jr, his wife Sheila Ann Hayes; Chad Israel Hayes, and his wife Natasha Michelle Hayes

Her Granddaughters: MaKenzie Ashton Bryant (22), Ainsley Claire Hayes (17), Teagen Leigh Hayes (6) and Hadley Claire Hayes (7 months)

A Family hosted Memorial Service will be held on November 5, 2022, 11:00 am at Rocky Branch Assembly of God, 167 Rocky Branch Rd, Farmerville, LA 71241 with Cheryl Hayes officiating. Family visitation will start at 10:30 am prior to the service.

She will lay to rest at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Liberty Hill Road, Farmerville, LA 71241

Special thanks to the staff of Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab center in greenbrier, Arkansas.  She loved the staff. Each of them made it the best place for her to live the last few years of her life.
