John Michael Whatley, age 41, went to be with his savior on October 30, 2022. He was born in Little Rock, AR to Phillip Whatley and Deeandra Warford.
John was a dedicated, hardworking, humorous, family man. He enjoyed doing outdoor activities such as fishing, and having family time.
John was a boiler operator/engineer at UAMS in Little Rock, AR. He loved going to work everyday and eager to learn. He loved to help anyone that he came across, impacting everyone that knew him.
John is preceded in death by his grandfather, Aubrey Chuck Warford.
John leaves behind his wife, Mikayla Whatley; 3 sons Peyton, Preston, and Aubrey; step-children Leighann and Kolton; parents Phillip and Deeandra Whatley; 3 sisters Millicent, Lauren and Opal; and 3 brothers Joseph, Luke, and Daniel.
A memorial service will be on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 10:00am at Briarwood Baptist Church in Cabot AR. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mikayla Whatley and family.

He was one if my favorite 2nd cousin. I hate we lost contact and we all have gotten to wrapped up in making it through life instead of making sure we are all close again. I love you John and I will miss you. Cousin Shellie
