Marjorie “Margie” Ilene Free, age 86

Marjorie “Margie” Ilene Free, age 86, of Searcy, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on November 12, 2022. She was born on October 7, 1936 in Flint, Michigan, to the late Frank and Beaulah Dusenbury.

Margie was a devoted church member at South Heights Church of God in Searcy, Arkansas. She retired from the Walmart Distribution Center. She loved watching her granddaughters compete in pageants. Margie enjoyed spending her time shopping, traveling, crafting, playing bingo, going to water aerobics, being with her church family, and spending time with her family.

Margie is preceded in death by her husband Omar Free of 34 years; siblings Judy Gould (Washington), Glen Quick (Michigan), and Frank Dusenbury (Michigan); children Gail and Jeff Free.

Margie leaves behind her daughter Judy Roberts (Gary) of Searcy, Arkansas; Daughter-in-law Christy Free of Beebe, Arkansas; grandchildren Emily Jones (Jacob) of Beebe, Arkansas, Makenzie Briney (Ridge) of Beebe, Arkansas, Michael Campbell from Searcy, Arkansas, Alex Campbell of Searcy, Arkansas; great grandchildren Payton Campbell of Bentonville, Arkansas, Cambrie and Kenlie Jones of Beebe, Arkansas, Makayla Rowell of Searcy, Arkansas, and future great grandson Chase Jones.

The visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. with the funeral service following at 3:00 P.M. at South Heights Church of God 1131 S. Main Street, Searcy, Arkansas.
