Scottie “Scott” Lee Kelley, age 49

Scottie“Scott”Lee Kelley age 49, of Ward, Arkansas passed away on Monday, November 07, 2022. He was born on June 15, 1973 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Harold and Leona Kelley. Mr. Kelley was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his loving wife Karen Kelley of more than 27 years; a daughter Rachel Kelley-Franks, a son Shelby Goodson Kelley, three grandsons; Kayden Kelley, Preston Franks, and Hudson Kelley, his mother Leona Kelley, two brothers; Harold Lynn Kelley (Jo), and Todd Bridges (Lorri), two sisters; Renee Bowers, and Tammy Griffin as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Scott loved serving his community as a police officer in Austin. He was a man of faith and loved his family dearly.  He also enjoyed singing gospel music and helping others.

Scott was preceded in death by his father Harold Kelley Sr. and a brother Randall Kelley.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11am at Oak Bowery Baptist Church in Conway with Brother Kevin Bernard officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Burial will follow at Oak Bowery Cemetery.

Memorials in his honor may be made to New Horizon Academy 13018 Hwy 31 North, Ward, Arkansas, 72176.

    Scott you stepped up when Sharon
    Passed and took on a father’s role to all Karen siblings and their kids. I will remember you ad a man who was there for all of them .

    Had the pleasure to work with Scott at APD. We always had a good time of fellowship whether we was riding together or eating lunch on our days off! He always invited me to church and always encouraged me! Gonna miss that guy

    Scott you have been in my life for as long as I can remember. Everytime I came up and ypu were there you always had a smile on your face. I don’t recall ever seeing you angry. You loved your family and even the ones that just tagged along. Thank you for being there for me and the kids. Rest In Love Scott Kelly one day we will see you agian.

    Scott I remember you from way back when I was a little girl and how you were so good to everyone and that smile was always on your face and I loved how you were always there for Karen and all her brothers and sisters. You truly will be missed until we meet again rest easy

    Had the pleasure of working with Mr. Kelly . He definitely had a big heart for everyone he met and would always try and help anyone he came.into contact with . You will be missed .
