Carol Dawn Martin, age 52

Carol Dawn Martin, age 52, of Jacksonville, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 10, 2022. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 27, 1970 to the late Thomas E. Upton Sr. and Carol Anne Lewis.

Dawn enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, painting, and hosting family functions and community events. She loved to fish and sit by the river. One of her favorite places to visit was Galveston, Texas. She always enjoyed riding the ferry. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dawn is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Upton Sr. and Carol Lewis.

She leaves behind her husband Dale Martin; children Monica Upton, Rebecca Sims (Cody), Rachel Martin, Tommie Davis, and Haleigh Martin; grandchildren Tia, Tanner, Tye, Emma, Mallory, and Elijah; siblings Staci Hall, Sammy Upton, and Tommy Upton Jr. (Jeff); and a host of extended family members, friends, and her precious cats.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 6:00pm with Funeral Service to follow on Tuesday December 20, 2022 at 10:00am at A Natural State Funeral Service; 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. Burial will follow after the service at Concord Cemetery in Lonoke, Arkansas.

    Dawn you will be truly missed. I’m very glad Gil and I were able to spend time with you Thanksgiving and at the wonderful Anniversary Party that you put together for Fred and Virginia this year for their 65th.
