Karen Sue Proffitt, age 61, of Jacksonville, AR. went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2022. Originally from Wentzville, MO, she was born October 6, 1961, to Thomas and Sue Barnett.
Her hobbies included reading, doting on her grandchildren, and spending time with her church family at First Baptist Church, Jacksonville.
Karen is preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Barnett.
She leaves behind her husband, Ray Proffitt; daughters Jessica McAllister and Rachael Steffens; 2 grandchildren, Derek and Luke McAllister; two siblings Annetta Mayfield and Kimberly Barnett; and many more friends and family members.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 3:00pm at A Natural State Funeral Service; 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.

I am so sorry for your loss. Sudden loss is very difficult but i feel this time of year makes it even more difficult. I am so sorry.
Karen was a bright spirit and doting grandmother. She is gone too soon.
So sorry, prayers for all of you – she was such a sweet lady and she will be missed.
