I was lucky to have Mrs. Rimer as my first nursing instructor. She was the best!

Linda was one of the kindest and sweetest individuals that I have ever known. She was my nursing instructor at UALR from 1982-1984 and was such a pleasure to learn under her. I was so blessed to have attended church with her at Little Rick West Assembly. Linda always had a smile on her face and so soft spoken to everyone she met. Praying for God’s comfort and strength for her family and friends during this difficult time. Heaven gained a beautiful angel.

I grew up with her in Smackover and in church, such a nice person. Her mom was my Sunday school teacher.

Linda had such a sweet and gentle nature. She was a joy to know. I admired her devotion to children. And to her Lord. She allowed her love for God to shine ever so brightly in her life. She is loved and will be very missed . I am praying for all her family. May our Father comfort your hurting hearts.

I met Linda in the fall of the year she moved to Little Rock to begin her college training. She was 18. She didn’t have a car when she moved to LR and I had just gotten my first one, so we rode together everywhere. We attended the same churches for many years, We played music together at church on the piano and organ, and she played fantastic offertories on the piano. A few years before Linda married, she moved into the same apartment house I lived in, and we had many fun times there. We attended each others’ weddings, with Linda serving refreshments at my reception. She often talked about her children in the latter years and loved to spend time with them. She and I stayed in touch throughout the years and she was a joy always.

I’m so sorry I didn’t hear about her funeral until a day too late. I certainly would have attended,

I am so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. She was a respected UALR faculty member and I appreciated the contact I had with her. I would have gone to the celebration of life if I had known about it before it was over! Rhonda–I hope you will contact me so that I can offer my condolences personally.
