Martin Worn Thomas, 80, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022. He was born on August 17, 1942 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Lloyd and Dora (Sis) Leonard Thomas.
Martin grew up in Little Rock and graduated from Fuller High School. He was a truck driver at Superior Trucking and Transcon Trucking during his career and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was also a lifelong member of Bingham Road Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
Martin is preceded in death by his parents; brothers LT Thomas and Donald Thomas; and sister Shirley Thomas.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Veronika (Johnson) Thomas; one son Michael (Reba) Thomas; two daughters Cindy Overstreet and Sheri Lott-Thomas; grandsons Dylan and Dalton Lott, Seth (Sara) Campbell, Jake Henry, Landon Thomas; great-granddaughter Paisley Campbell; sister Billie Jean Wade; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 2:00pm at Bingham Road Baptist Church; 923 W Bingham Rd, Little Rock, AR 72206.
