Carol Hambrick, age 72

Carol Hambrick, 72, of Conway passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by family, on Thursday, December 22, 2022. She was born September 12, 1950, to the late Doyle Bishop and Flossie Edwards Bishop.

Carol spent her life as a professional mother and homemaker in which she found great success and joy. She extended her motherly love beyond her own family as known by those whose lives she touched. Camping, playing the slots at the nearest casino, dancing, and spending time with her grandchildren were her favorite activities.

Carol is survived by her husband of 31 years, Bill Hambrick; son, Donnie Dietz, two daughters. Krysti Dietz and Lindsey Hambrick; two grandchildren, Ethan Dietz and Trey Dietz; two brothers, Darrell Bishop and his wife Charlotte, and Jimmy Bishop and his wife Brenda; one sister-in-law, Jackie Bishop; many nieces, nephews, friends, and two beloved dogs, Trouble and Jazzy.

Carol was preceded in death by sister Iris Sipes and her husband Jerry Sipes; two brothers, Bud Bishop and his wife Lowetta Bishop, and Danny Bishop.

A celebration of life will be held in Carol’s home on January 28, 2023, from 1-4pm. The family invites you to drop by to honor her memory and to share your memories of her life.
