Holland Alfred Miller, age 97

Holland Alfred Miller, 97, of Bryant, Arkansas died on January 25, 2023. He was born on February 5, 1925 in Grant County, Arkansas to the late Andrew Caldwell Miller and Eula Caple Miller.

He is preceded in death by his wife Imogene Boone Miller, father, mother, and a daughter Leslie Anne Miller; six brothers and one sister.

Holland was a graduate of Bauxite High School and attended the University of Cincinnati. In 1982, he retired as traffic manager at Reynolds Metals Company, Hurricane Creek Plant. He was a member of the Bryant First United Methodist Church where he served as treasurer for many years. He also served on the building committee. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1943-1946. Holland was a member of the Central Arkansas Traffic Club, Lions Club, and served as an alderman on the Bryant City Council. Holland is survived by his daughter Maurey Miller Gault and her husband Asbury “Sonny” Gault; step-grandchildren Gray Gault and Autumn Gault and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, February 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Holland’s life at 11:00 AM at Bryant First UMC, 508 N Reynolds Road, Bryant, Arkansas 72022.

    Maury, ‘Sorry to hear about you father’s death. My father lived to his mid90’s and also outlived mom by several years. Condolences to you and yours. The changes we have all seen! Buddy

    My sympathy to famlly. I worked with Holland at Reynolds for many years. Have lots of good memories.
