James William Melton Jr, age 51

James William Melton Jr, age 51, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2023. He was born in Lubbock, Texas on October 19, 1971 to the late James William Melton Sr and Bennetia Delong.

James liked to be with his family and friends. He loved going to the creek, fishing, and camping. He loved listening to music, especially Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zepplin. He also enjoyed playing with his grandkids. James always knew how to make you laugh. He was a jokester and always had a smile on his face.

James leaves behind his wife Rhonda Melton; children James Melton Jr, Savannah  Melton, Valarie Melton, and Joshua Bennett; stepchildren Bradley Bloom and Aaron Tom; four grandchildren; sisters Atha Murk, Carla Curd, and Donna Morrow Scott; brothers Ricky Melton, Larry Melton, Terry Melton, Maxey Melton, and Woodrow Butler; and many more friends and extended family members.
